UNDERSTAND THE COST

Is ArtCraft free? Software, cloud credits, and costs.

Separate the free software, official model credits, and our independent Image Lab.

Evidence: official public documentation reviewed. This guide does not claim a tested walkthrough of every signed-in ArtCraft control.
Third-party references. ArtCraft and Storyteller are separate from this site. Links labeled “Third-party website” open their websites in a new tab. Their accounts, downloads and credits are separate from our Image Lab; no installation is required to use our workspace.

01 / The software and the model calls are different things

The official homepage describes ArtCraft as open source and offers a free download. Its pricing page lists paid cloud-generation plans and one-time credit packs, and says the app can be used without a subscription with your own compute or third-party services. Software access and hosted generation are separate costs.

02 / Read the billing period before the big number

The public pricing page has Yearly and Monthly options. A yearly plan can display a monthly equivalent while charging a full year at once. Check the amount due today, renewal period, model-specific usage, and resolution. Promotional prices can change. A model credit is not automatically one picture.

03 / Our points belong to a separate service

Image Lab uses Seedream 5.0 Flash through KIE, not an ArtCraft account or official ArtCraft API. Our proposed one-time packs are $9.90 for 60 points and $19.90 for 130 points. No recurring subscription. Points last 12 months from purchase; any applicable tax is shown at checkout.

04 / Count operations, not just pictures

Text-to-image and an edit using one input each cost 1 point at 1K or 2K. An edit using 2–4 input images costs 2 points. A 60-point pack can cover up to 60 ordinary generations OR 30 multi-image edits, or a mixture—not both allowances together.

05 / Understand failed requests and retries

A technical failure or an undeliverable result releases reserved points. Choosing to generate another variation is a new request. We cannot promise every image will match your intent; review the result before using it commercially.
